Flooring Installation

Evaluate existing flooring, check subfloor for level and moisture, inspect underlayment condition, measure expansion gaps needed, and assess transition strip requirements between rooms.

Choose from solid hardwood with tongue-and-groove joinery, luxury vinyl plank with underlayment, porcelain tile with grout lines, laminate floating floors, and carpet with proper tack strips and padding.

Remove existing flooring and old underlayment, prepare subfloor with leveling compound, install vapor barrier where needed, check for squeaky joists, and ensure proper substrate for new flooring.

Our crew follows manufacturer specs for every material. Nail-down or glue-down for solid hardwood, click-lock floating install for LVP and laminate, thin-set mortar with spacers for tile. We keep proper expansion gaps at walls, stagger joints for strength, and use pneumatic nailers for consistent fastening on hardwood jobs.

We install T-moldings, reducers, and threshold transitions between rooms for a clean flow. Baseboards get re-installed or replaced with fresh trim, quarter-round goes in where needed, and all nail holes are filled and touched up. We vacuum, damp-mop, and walk the job with you before we call it done.
